Ceremony Bookings:-
Marriage Notice Forms - These forms are legally required to be completed
by the bride and groom. We do not accept any responsibility for your failure to
complete and return them to The Registrar in time. These forms must be with the
registrar no earlier than three months prior to the wedding and no later than
fifteen days before
Marriage Schedule – (Religious Weddings) The marriage schedule should be
collected from The Registrar no sooner than seven days prior to the ceremony (so
long as the legally required 15 days have been served). Please check opening
times with individual registration office. This document must be presented to
the Minister prior to the ceremony commencing, failure to do so will result in
postponement of your wedding. We reserve the right to change the minister
without notice.
Marriage Schedule – (Civil Weddings) The Marriage Schedule will be
brought to the ceremony by the registrar
Certificate of marriage shall be issued by the registrar. It is your
responsibility to return the signed marriage schedule to The Registrar within
three days of the ceremony.
Payment – We accept most debit cards (switch/maestro) and most credit
cards. A nominal 1.5% surcharge will automatically be applied to all credit
cards. Payment may also be made by cheque. A booking for a wedding within four
weeks must be paid in full by card or bankers cheque.
Payments - All payments should be made in the time specified. Returned
cheques will incur a fee of £12. Declined credit card transactions will incur a
charge of £4.
Prices- All prices are correct at time of going to print. The price you
pay for your wedding package will be the price this package is offered at the
time of booking. Initial payments (deposits) are non refundable. Registrars fees
are subject to change without notice, their fees are payable direct to them and
will be charged at the rate applicable at the time of the wedding
Provisional bookings - will be held for a time of one week awaiting receipt
of your booking form and initial payment.
Booking Forms - Clients are responsible for any errors i.e.. Changes made
due to mis-completion of the booking form, (wrong dates etc.) will incur a £25
charge.
Late arrival may result in postponement of your wedding. Ceremonies
postponed until later the same day, subject to availability, will incur a £25
charge. No refund will be given for failure to complete the ceremony on the
date. The marriage room is booked for half an hour, late arrival could result in
a limited number of photographs inside the Marriage Venue.
Postponing a wedding giving a minimum of 8 weeks notice will incur an
administration charge of £50. The new date must be booked on postponement.
Postponing a wedding within 8 weeks will result in £200 charge.
Change of Date-A date may only be changed once; thereafter all monies
will be forfeited
Cancellation
- In the event of cancellation up to three months prior to the wedding, all
monies paid over and above the initial required payment will be returned. The
Initial deposit paid on booking is non refundable There is a no refund policy for cancellation within three months.
Complaints - In the unlikely event you have a complaint against one of
our outside services this will be steered directly to the individual company for
resolve. We carefully select third party suppliers who have shown a proven
history of delivering a very high standard
Accommodation – Accommodation within the package consists of a Bridal
Room (Bed & Breakfast) for two nights. This will normally be in a Bridal
Chamber, Four Poster, Superior Room or Executive Double; many hotels use
different terms for this room
Couples are required to abide by the terms and conditions of each hotel.
Payments should be made to them when requested. You will be liable for the cost
of repairs carried out as a result of damages caused to any part of the
hotel/marriage venue premises or equipment therein by negligence, wilful act or
default of any person invited by you or on your behalf to the hotel
Reception Meal – If requested we shall ensure we book your Bridal in a
hotel which can cater for all your guests for a reception meal. It is your
responsibility to arrange with the hotel payment of deposits, menu selection
etc.
Photography :-
Deposit - A non refundable deposit of £50 is charged upon booking.
Payments - The balance of fees due are to be paid before the date of the
wedding. Payment for additional photographs to be made when these are ordered.
Display - I hereby allow the photographer to display any photograph
included in this contract in their studio or portfolio.
Photograph/Video - All photograph sizes are normal. The photographers
will provide a pleasing colour balance but cannot guarantee exact colour
matching. Owing to anomalous reflectance caused by a combination certain dyes
and materials, especially man made fibres, is sometimes impossible to record on
film / print the exact colour of materials as seen by the human eye.
Retouching - Retouching and artist finishing is available at an optional
extra.
Re-orders - All re-orders shall be treated as an extension to this
contract. No responsibility for error will be accepted unless orders are given
in writing. Payment should accompany orders. Postage in due with each order
Diamond – Album Photographs for the Diamond photography service should
reach us within three months of your wedding. A charge of £50 will be applied
for late orders
Copyrights - The 1988 Copyright Act assigns the copyright to the
photographer. It is contrary to the act to copy or to allow being copied any
photographs covered by the contract.
Licence - The photographer shall be granted artistic licence in relation
to the poses photographed and the location used. The photographers’ judgements
regarding the locations, poses and number of photographs shall be deemed
correct.
Prices - All services and / or good are supplied at the prices ruling at
the time of supply.
Force majeure - The due performance of this contract is subject to
alteration or cancellation by the photographers owing to any cause beyond their
control. In the unlikely event of total photographic failure or cancellation of
this contract by the photographers liability shall be limited to a full refund
of money paid.
Cancellation - In the event that the client cancels this contract at any
time by giving written notice, the booking fee of £50 shall be forfeited. In
addition, if notice of cancellation be received by the photographers less than 8
weeks prior to the appointment the clients would pay the photographers a sum
equal to half the contract fee.
Complaints - In the unlikely event of an unresolved complaint the client
may request the Master Photographers Association to conciliate.
Travelling - We reserve the right to add a travelling charge to attend
full photography sessions outwith a 25 mile radius. Attending an additional
venue, outside Gretna for individual photographs (e.g.. cake) will incur a
charge.
Delivery - Photographs should be ready for collection 14-21 days after the
wedding. Postage is included in the UK . Europe and rest of world will incur a
postage fee of £25. They shall be posted 14-21 days after the ceremony.
